Addison is an irresistibly cute terrier mix puppy with a charming little underbite, striking eyes, and the coolest multicolor coat- just as adorable as her personality! She and her brother Aiden were rescued from the Palmdale Animal Shelter after being overlooked for more than ten days, and we can’t imagine why because Addison is simply the sweetest. This playful pup loves to romp around the yard with her brother and other friendly dogs, chasing, tumbling, and playing endless games of tag and tug-of-war. When she’s not running around, Addison keeps herself happily entertained with her favorite toys or comes trotting over to be scooped up and cradled like a baby, showing off her tiny lower teeth with pride. Sweet, silly, and full of love, Addison is full of puppy energy, cuddly charm and she is more than ready to bring smiles and joy to his forever family. We think Addison would do best with a playful, active family that can keep up with her spunk. If you would like to meet Addison, fill out an application. Ash has been through more than most dogs should, but you’d never know it from his calm, kind-hearted nature. This sweet boy came to us after his owner became homeless, and he arrived in rough shape—matted, covered in ticks, and feeling pretty unwell. Thankfully, he was able to recover in a loving foster home and is now happy, healthy, and ready for his next chapter. Now settling into our kennel, Ash is showing us what a truly special dog he is. He’s mellow, affectionate, and gets along well with other dogs. He takes everything in stride and seems to be just grateful to be safe, clean, and cared for. He seems fearful of men and prefers the company of women. Ash would thrive in a home where he can enjoy a steady routine and gentle companionship. |

Meet Aspen, a truly special dog with the sweetest soul and a heart of pure gold. Aspen’s journey began when she was surrendered to the shelter while pregnant, only to give birth just two days later to five healthy baby girls. Knowing she deserved a safe, peaceful place to recover and bond with her puppies, we brought Aspen and her babies to the ranch, where she could focus on being the amazing mom she was meant to be. Pregnancy and birth were not easy on Aspen’s body, and she bravely worked through a few post-partum infections with the help of attentive veterinary care. Now that her puppies have been weaned and adopted into loving homes, Aspen has made a remarkable recovery. She is healthier than ever and her personality has absolutely blossomed. Happy, bubbly, and cuddlier than you could imagine, Aspen has truly come into her own. Aspen was a devoted and attentive mother, but now it’s finally her turn to be cherished. She has been a rock star in every way, getting along beautifully with everyone she meets, young or old, dogs and cats alike. Whether as a loving family dog or a calm, affectionate companion for someone living on their own, Aspen is ready to bring endless love and gentle joy to her forever home. Boo is an adorable small mixed-breed pup who’s had quite the glow-up since arriving at the sanctuary. After being treated for a cough and getting a much-needed dental with a few extractions, this sweet boy is now healthy, healed, and fully ready to find his forever home. Since settling in, Boo has met plenty of dogs and has even been spending his days with two younger, high-energy pals, Candy and Baxter. Despite their playful antics, Boo doesn’t mind their energy one bit. While he’s not the most playful pup himself, he’s slowly discovering the fun of toys and learning how to enjoy them at his own pace. He has also had the pleasure of meeting a few cats and couldn't have done better which lets us know he has likely had some feline friends in the past. Boo’s favorite things? Lounging and sunbathing in front of a warm window, going on walks where he proudly trots like a little pony, and curling up in your lap for pets and scratches. With proper introductions, he should do just fine living with another dog, or even two! With his curly hair peeking out behind his floppy ears and his soft, gentle eyes, Boo is simply too cute to pass up. He’s ready to bring calm, cuddly joy to a family lucky enough to call him their own. Email: [email protected] Phone: 661-251-5590 |

Brady is a loving senior dog who enjoys quiet companionship and knows exactly what he wants. He adores curling up next to you on the couch or snuggling in bed at night, and he’s especially sweet and affectionate in the mornings. Brady communicates clearly through his body language—when he needs space, he’ll let you know by becoming still or reserved, and he appreciates being given that respect. He prefers to eat and nap undisturbed, and can be sensitive to distractions or sudden activity around him. But call his name, and he’ll often come happily to you. With patience, time, and someone who can tune into his cues, Brady will reward you with deep trust and affection. He’s looking for a calm, understanding home where he can enjoy his golden years in peace and comfort. Brady is truly a gem for the right person—someone who sees the beauty in a dog who loves on his own terms. |

|
Marvin is a sweet, mellow little guy who just wants a cozy lap and a kind heart to call his own. We rescued him from the San Bernardino Shelter, where he arrived as a stray with a few wounds, including a painful foxtail embedded in his paw. Since then, he’s healed up beautifully and is ready for the next chapter of his life. Marvin can be shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, he melts into affection and loves to snuggle. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. Like many dogs with a rough start, Marvin is still learning to feel fully secure. He can be sensitive around high-value items and may guard them, which is something a patient adopter can work on with the support of a positive-reinforcement trainer. Because of this, Marvin would do best in an adult-only home with someone experienced or willing to learn how to support him as he continues to build confidence. He has a bite history, which we’re happy to discuss in more detail with interested adopters — transparency is important to us, and we believe Marvin deserves a chance with someone who understands his needs. He’s also managing some skin allergies and is on medication that’s been helping him feel much more comfortable. Marvin is a good boy who’s come a long way. He just needs the right match — someone kind, patient, and ready to let him shine. |

Meet Mr. Waffles, our 4 year old terrier! Waffles enjoys spending his days in one of our yards chasing around critters or playing with all of his favorite toys. He'll even come up to you and show off his most prized toys with a happy smile and fast wagging tail. Waffles also loves to play with water from our hose or the splash pad, but most of all, he loves to jump in our pool for his daily swim in the warmer months. He also knows several commands like sit, down, and paw. He is very treat and toy motivated and very smart so training him to do nearly anything should be a breeze! Mr. Waffles is definitely a high energy dog that will require a family that can keep up by either playing with him in the yard, going swimming, or frequent walks and activities. Mr. Waffles can be a bit reactive on a leash when he sees other dogs but has been making great strides the past few months with making new dog friends. Mr. Waffles gets along with other friendly dogs that are a little smaller or bigger than him after proper introductions. Because of his past, we have recently added a medication to his life which has really helped allow him to make these changes and live a happier and more fulfilling life and believe he should continue this. He's been a fun addition to the sanctuary's furry family and we can't wait for his perfect match to come along! Meet Raffi, a darling 9-year-old Maltese who came to us after his beloved owner sadly passed away. Raffi spent his life surrounded by love, and it truly shows in his gentle nature and affectionate heart. He has the kind of calm, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around, yet he still has a playful sparkle that comes out when he rolls happily in the grass or plays in the office with his best buddy, our 1-year-old Chihuahua, Sparky, showing that even at 9 years young, Raffi still knows how to have fun! Raffi does have a mildly collapsed trachea, a common condition in small and senior dogs, but it has been doing well recently and no longer requires daily medication. Should he have a flare up, he has a medication he can take that he happily gobbles up in some chicken or a pill pocket. But since being with us, we haven't had to use the medication once. With simple care like using a harness instead of a collar, and a bi-annual vet check up, Raffi can live a long and happy life. Because Raffi gets along beautifully with everyone- dogs, cats, and people alike- he’s become our go to “tester” pup for new arrivals of both species. He’s steady, social, endlessly kind, patient and tolerant. Raffi is truly the kind of companion who brings warmth and peace wherever he goes and is now ready to find his forever home where he’ll be cherished once again. Sparky is a one-year-old Chihuahua who came to us from the Palmdale Animal Shelter, where he was completely shut down and overwhelmed by all the chaos and noise. Despite being so frightened, it was clear that Sparky wanted to trust and be loved, so we brought him back to the ranch to give him the second chance he deserved. We don’t know much about his past since he arrived at the shelter as a stray, but it seems like he might've had a rough start. He developed a nervous habit of walking in small circles, a sign of how anxious he felt in stressful situations. With the help of a little liquid gabapentin added to his food twice daily, Sparky’s anxiety has eased, and his sweet personality has begun to shine through. Now that Sparky feels safe and comfortable, his adorable personality has blossomed! He learning just how fun playing with stuffed toys can be, loves going for walks, and soaking up belly rubs. He gets along well with other gentle, easygoing dogs- both big and small- as long as they are respectful and don’t overwhelm him. He and our senior Maltese, Raffi, have even become good buddies, often seen sharing toys, food, beds, and playing together in the office. Get ready to fall in love with Stitch! This little blue mystery rescue decided to make a dramatic entrance on July 3rd, looking like a tiny, blue, very unwell mop at our shelter partner in San Bernardino. With ears that could pick up satellite signals, legs that defy logic, and the sweetest green eyes, we knew immediately she was special – and desperately needed help. She was so sick, we practically red-carpeted her straight to the ER! Turns out, Stitch had been battling some serious tummy troubles for days. Dehydration, an infection, and a possible obstruction meant she was going under the knife. Did we hesitate? Nope! Kisses, snuggles, and a "go get 'em, tiger" later, we handed our precious cargo over to the vet team. Four days later our little fighter was discharged! Stitch is a true testament to resilience and the power of second chances. She's goofy, brave, and already deeply loved. She is all better and is prepared to find her furrever family! She is 8 months old and 30 lbs. She is in foster in San Bernardino but will be coming to the kennel soon.
