Apollo is amazing! We rescued him via our South L.A. intervention program. He had a tumor on his head and a broken jaw. He just had a dental and is feeling great. He is good with other dogs and loves people. He loves going on walks and he loves playing with toys. He carries around little toys in his mouth while he walks around, which is very cute. He is 11 years old and weighs 10 lbs. If you'd like to meet him, please fill out an application here: https://langefoundation.org/dog-adoption-application |

Boo is an adorable small mixed-breed pup who’s had quite the glow-up since arriving at the sanctuary. Since settling in, Boo has met plenty of dogs and typically gets along well with other canines after proper introductions. Even when hanging around with our higher energy dogs, Boo doesn’t mind their energy one bit. While he’s not the most playful pup himself, he’s slowly discovering the fun of toys and learning how to enjoy them at his own pace. Boo’s favorite things? Lounging and sunbathing in front of a warm window, going on walks where he proudly trots like a little pony, and curling up in your lap for pets and scratches. With proper introductions, he should do just fine living with another dog, or even two! Boo has specific needs and will require an experienced, patient guardian in an adult only home. Have you ever seen a more adorable little scruffy pup?! Well look no further than one of the newest residents of St. Bonnie's- Butters. This cutie was rescued from the Lancaster shelter was was full of nothing but love, kisses, cuddles, and a playful energy that lit up the ranch since the moment he arrived. We've been testing Butters with a bunch of different dogs and he has loved everyone he meets. At just under 20 lbs and nearly 9 months old, we don't think he has much more growing to do so he would do well in a home or apartment setting and would make a great family pet. Hi I'm Chris! I'm the smallest pup in my litter but have a big, loving personality, a lot of cuddles to give, and excited to learn whatever you want to teach me as I grow up into a mature adult. I've loved getting to know the different dogs here at the ranch, go on walks, and wrestle and play with my brothers. Because I'm young, I could easily transition into any home that is ready and willing to take on a puppy who needs a loving home. If you'd like to meet me, fill out an application and come say hello! Hi my name is Goose, aka Silly Goose, Loosey Goosey, or Gooserton. I might be a little shy when we first meet, new people and places can feel a bit overwhelming for me, but if you give me a little time and patience, I promise I'm worth it. After a little introduction and a few treats, I start to feel safe and secure and my true personality comes out, and that's when the fun begins! I am a super playful, goofy guy who loves to be silly and make my humans smile. Whether it's zooming around, playing with my tiny stuffy toys, or just being a little weirdo, I've got plenty of personality to share. And after all that, I am all about being close and soaking up all the affection I can get. I am also very dog and cat friendly, and I'm very calm and respectful when meeting new furry friends. I like to take things slow and make sure everyone feels comfortable. Just one more reason I'm such a good boy to have around- not that you needed one! I’ve had my time in a busy city environment, but I can be sensitive to loud noises, so a peaceful, quieter suburban home would suit me best. I’m fully potty trained and take pride in keeping my space neat and tidy. I do enjoy spending time with kids, but I’d be happiest in a calmer environment with adults because it helps me feel more at ease. Hades is a calm, confident dog. Hades loves attention and treats, and will happily wag his tiny tail at the sight of you. He enjoys being around people but can be reactive around other animals, so would be best suited to stay at home getting all the attention there where he would love to play fetch and tug-o-war all day long. Hades has completed 4 weeks in a training facility but would benefit from continued training because of his large, powerful size. Hades would do best in a home with an active family or person and will require a home with high fencing as he can jump over most standard fences. Hades must also be the only pet in the home- no cats or dogs. |
Marvin is a sweet, mellow little guy who just wants a cozy lap and a kind heart to call his own. We rescued him from the San Bernardino Shelter, where he arrived as a stray with a few wounds, including a painful foxtail embedded in his paw. Since then, he’s healed up beautifully and is ready for the next chapter of his life. Marvin can be shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, he melts into affection and loves to snuggle. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. Like many dogs with a rough start, Marvin is still learning to feel fully secure. He can be sensitive around high-value items and may guard them, which is something a patient adopter can work on with the support of a positive-reinforcement trainer. Because of this, Marvin would do best in an adult-only home with someone experienced or willing to learn how to support him as he continues to build confidence. He has a bite history, which we’re happy to discuss in more detail with interested adopters — transparency is important to us, and we believe Marvin deserves a chance with someone who understands his needs. He’s also managing some skin allergies and is on medication that’s been helping him feel much more comfortable. Marvin is a good boy who’s come a long way. He just needs the right match — someone kind, patient, and ready to let him shine. |

Meet Mr. Waffles, our 4 year old terrier! Waffles enjoys spending his days in one of our yards playing with all of his favorite toys. He'll even come up to you and show off his most prized toys with a happy smile and wagging tail. Waffles also loves to play with water and to jump in our pool for his daily swim in the warmer months. He also knows several commands like sit, down, and paw. He is very treat and toy motivated and very smart so training him to do nearly anything should be a breeze! Mr. Waffles is definitely a high energy dog that will require a family that can keep up by either playing with him in the yard, going swimming, or frequent walks and activities. Mr. Waffles can be a bit reactive on a leash when he sees other dogs but has been making great strides the past few months with making new dog friends. Mr. Waffles gets along with other friendly dogs that are a little smaller or bigger than him after proper introductions. Hi I'm Paulie! I came to the ranch with my 6 brothers and sisters and now I'm ready to find my forever home! I always get so wiggly and excited when I see the staff and volunteers come in and can't wait to get some attention and affection. I like to play and wrestle with my brothers but I actually have a pretty calm and mellow disposition for a puppy my age. I'm super gentle and sweet with a big heart full of love. I've learned to walk nicely on leash already and can't wait for my future family to teach me even more! I also love other dogs, big and small, so if you already have one in the home, that would be great because I would love to have a forever best friend to play and cuddle with. I hope that you've liked getting to know me a bit better and will fill out an application and come say hello soon! Email: [email protected] Phone: 661-251-5590 |

Punky is truly the best! We rescued this sweet girl, along with several others, from a breeding situation—and she’s been winning hearts ever since. With her big, lovable presence and goofy charm, Punky is the perfect mix of gentle and playful. Though she may look a little tough, Punky is a total softie. She adores belly rubs, thrives on affection, and is always up for a car ride. She’s outgoing, silly, and full of personality—the kind of dog who makes every day a little brighter. Punky has sensitive skin and takes a daily allergy pill to keep her comfortable, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. She’s happiest in a home where she can be the center of attention—so she should be your one and only pet. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and slightly squishy best friend, Punky might just be the perfect match. Your house hippo awaits! |
