"Anna is a very loving and loyal young terrier. She loves people and has her mellow moments as well as her playful ones. She has done well with the other dogs we have here and she really likes to play. She is not super needy for attention and is perfectly happy doing her own thing sometimes. Apple Strudel
Visit me at Lange Foundation
"Apple Strudel is the cutest! He is always happy to see us and loves to meet new people. We recently intercepted him before he was going to be surrendered to the shelter. He was formerly used for breeding. He is walking well on the leash but gets distracted because he wants to smell everything and say hi to everyone. He likes other dogs and loves to sit in the sun and be pet. He is getting neutered next week and then he will be all ready to go home! If you think you might be his forever home, please submit an application and we can schedule you to come and meet him! https:\/\/langefoundation.org\/dog-adoption-application\/" |

Bianca
Visit me at Lange Foundation
"Bianca is a such a joy! This happy-go-lucky girl will bring a smile to your face even on the hardest days. She loves to be around people and greets everyone she meets. She came to us with a heart condition that required surgery and is now fully healed and just needs a checkup every 6 months. Bianca is snuggly, affectionate and an all around good girl. She has some dogs she gets along with but she is selective about her furry friends so she would be happiest as your only pet." |

Cardan
Male
1 year 10 months.
Cardan
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
"Cardan is an independent pup preferring to do his own thing rather than have someone hover over him all the time. He'll appreciate a quick pet to check in on you before trotting off to get back to playing with his friends until he's all tuckered out. With beautiful, unique face and coat markings, Cardan is quite the catch! Our trainer recently worked with him and let us know he is a smart boy who will be a very loyal companion with some patience and training. He would do best in a home with an active family or other energetic dogs to keep him company. Cardan cannot be adopted out to homes with cats. \n\nIf you're interested in meeting Cardan, you can fill out an application at https:\/\/langefoundation.org\/dog-adoption-application\/\n\nEmail: st.bonnies@gmail.com\nPhone: 661-251-5590" |

Cedric
Visit me at Lange Foundation
"Cedric is a spunky guy who was found on the street. He was very dirty, flea-infested, matted and looked like a completely different dog! He has the most adorable underbite and a lot of personality. He enjoys going on walks and really likes other dogs. He spent a short time in a home and needs some training. He can be protective of his people and will need work with a trainer to break him of this habit. If you have additional questions about Cedric or would like to come and meet him, please email us at info@langefoundation.org." |

"Chloe is a very bright and cheery senior Chihuahua who came to us with her two sisters. One was adopted and she is still here hanging out with her sister Lola. Drew
Visit me at Foster::Charlene Gonzales
"Drew was severely matted when he arrived at the South LA Shelter. He was in terrible shape. After a full shave, a tiny dog appeared. He was not happy at the shelter, but when we met him he was extremely sweet to us. We brought him into our care and are slowly addressing his need - dental, neuter, and orthopedic consultation. Drew is a definite staff favorite!" |

Franny
Visit me at Foster::Salli Sammut
"Franny is a very sweet girl who we rescued from the shelter where she had a broken jaw. Our amazing dentist was able to repair it and she has been living in a foster home while she recovers. She is the nicest pup! She is playful, friendly and very affectionate. She is a smart girl who is house trained, crate trained and walks wonderfully on a leash. She really is the perfect dog. She will be spayed soon and then ready to go home! In the meantime we are taking applications for her and scheduling potential adopters to come and meet her." |

Hades
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
"Meet Hades! Weighing in at 77 pounds, Hades is a calm, confident dog. He is possibly 4 or 5 years of age but seems to be an old soul. He always appears to be weighing the situation - cocking his head to the side and contemplating the world. Hades loves attention and treats, and will happily wag his tiny tail at the sight of you. He enjoys being around people, going on walks and dinner time. \nHades has had all his vaccinations and he has been neutered and microchipped. \n\nHades would do best in a home with an active family or person and will require a home with high and sturdy fencing due to his jumping ability. \n\nIf you're interested in meeting Hades, you can fill out an application at https:\/\/langefoundation.org\/dog-adoption-application\/\n\nEmail: st.bonnies@gmail.com\nPhone: 661-251-5590" |

Hemmet
Male
2 years 6 months.
Hemmet
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
"Hemmet is a large, loveable, pup that will cuddle in your lap if you let him. He is great with people and other dogs. He does have a birth defect that caused a spinal malformation which in turn caused a slight compression of his spinal cord. His most recent visit to a specialist was a positive one as they found him to be thriving and exceeding their expectations. We were told that at this point we just needed to be on the look out for normal Shepard related medical issues. He is a silly, sweet, good-natured dog who enjoys his daily walks and time outside. Due to his spine, Hemmet will need to be in a home where he is not constantly required to use a staircase and has access to the outdoors often with some room to run. He will need some training during his transition to home life, but he will make sure to fill your whole world with fun and love. If you want a good-looking, slightly dorky, and loyal companion, please meet Hemmet!\n\n\nIf Hemmet sounds like a perfect fit for your family, you can also fill out our adoption application here : \nhttps:\/\/langefoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/dogapplication.pdf" |

Henri

Henri
Visit me at Lange Foundation
"Henri is our silly and spunky terrier mix. He was rescued from the San Bernardino shelter with lacerations down his neck. We took him immediately to the emergency vet to get the necessary surgery to repair his wounds. He is such a sweet soul who is very loving once he gets to know you. He is nervous around strangers and needs whoever adopts him to be slow and patient when introducing him to new people. He doesn't trust people right away likely due to something that happened to him before he came into our care, but once he does trust you he is very loyal. Henri is a young boy who has a lot of energy and spirit and is patiently waiting for the right person to come along." |

"We rescued Jesse from the shelter where he was very timid and nervous. We don't know what has happened to him in a past life but he does have some insecurities. He doesn't like being in a kennel or crate so crate training would not be a great option for him." |

Mylie
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
"This super senior is filled with so much love and excitement. She loves attention from people just as much as she loves treats. Mylie is currently on a once a day vitamin to help support her liver that she happily takes in a pill pocket. She gets along great with the other foster dogs and cats she lives with and would be amazing in a home with pets and children. This sweet girl is looking for a place to relax in the sun and get plenty of belly rubs." |

Nino
Visit me at Lange Foundation
"Nino is an energetic guy who loves going on long walks and being outside. He is a very sweet dog who is a bit misunderstood. He was in a home for seven years and then returned to us after the family had a second child and Nino was unhappy. Nino is great once he bonds with and trusts you and LOVES to give kisses. He can be really nervous when thrown into a new environment or stressful situation so it is important to go slow with him so he knows he is safe." |

Pearl
Visit me at Lange Foundation
"Pearl is a sweet senior pup who was originally surrendered to the shelter as a stray. She was with us for a few months and then was adopted into a loving home. Unfortunately her owner had to go into an assisted living facility and could no longer care for her so she came back to us. Pearl has so much personality and is so much fun! She loves her daily walks where she likes to stop and roll in the grass. She has gotten along with the other dogs here and loves to meet new people. We are hoping we can find a good home for this beautiful senior so she can spend her golden years being spoiled!!" |

Punky
Female
6 years 10 months.
Punky
Visit me at Lange Foundation
"Punky is the best! We rescued her along with a few other dogs that were previously used for breeding. She has sensitive skin and is on a daily pill to help her with skin irritation. Punky is the definition of gentle giant. She may look intimidating but she is really a softie. She spooks easily by loud cars that drive by and the dreaded garbage truck so she often prefers to go on walks with another dog to help her confidence. She loves to have her belly rubbed, is very affectionate and . is great in the car. She has a very silly personality, is extremely outgoing and will make a wonderful companion. She does well with other dogs and likes being part of a pack but would also be happy being an only dog. If you're looking for your very own house hippo, look no further!" |

"Starburst and her brother Jolly Rancher were found as strays and turned into the shelter. We scooped them up and are having so much fun getting to know them! They are such energetic and fun puppies. They have so much energy and are so friendly and affectionate. They will likely be medium sized when fully grown and should start obedience training early. If you are interested in adopting Starburst, please submit an application and we can get you in to meet her! https:\/\/langefoundation.org\/dog-adoption-application\/" |

Swiffer
Male
12 years 8 months.
Swiffer
Visit me at Lange Foundation
"Swiffer was originally rescued from the South LA shelter back in January 2014. He was quickly adopted and spent 6 years in a home. The family had a child and while they co-existed together for about 3 years, Swiffer had a difficult time adjusting to the toddler and unfortunately did bite the child. \n\nSince Swiffer has been with us he has been a total joy! He has some trust issues and will bark a lot initially when meeting a new person but he settles in fairly quickly. He would not do well in a home with young children who don't know when to give a dog space. \n\nOnce Swiffer gets to know you he shows off his awesome and silly personality. He loves to go on long walks, cuddling on the couch and playing with his stuffed animals. He does well with most dogs as long as there is a proper introduction and he doesn't feel overwhelmed. He doesn't have an affinity for cats so it would be best for him to be adopted out into a cat-free home. Overall, Swiffer is a very wonderful companion, but just needs the right atmosphere to thrive!" |

Vulcan
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
"Weighing in at 77 pounds of pure muscle, this big guy has an even bigger heart. Vulcan was found with his friend Hades wandering the street alone before they were found by staff. Vulcan is a lover not a fighter. He wants to be held and cuddled and he forgets his size as he attempts to sit in your lap. He is great with all people. He will show initial excitement at first but then calms down so he can get all the pets. He does enjoy watching the staff go about their tasks, relaxing his head into his paws hoping for attention. We recently had a trainer work with him who commented that he is sweet and sensitive.\n\nVulcan would do well in an active home with those who can handle or have experience with large breed dogs. All applicants must have a securely fenced yard as Vulcan knows how to jump over most standard fences. \n\nIf you're interested in meeting Vulcan, you can fill out an application at https:\/\/langefoundation.org\/dog-adoption-application\/\n\nEmail: st.bonnies@gmail.com\nPhone: 661-251-5590" |
