Bonsai
Male
15 weeks.
Bonsai
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Bonsai is a high energy puppy who we rescued from the shelter. He is extremely friendly, smart, playful, and cute as can be. He is going to be a big dog and he will need training. He will need an owner who has the time and energy to commit to a puppy and can train him properly. He will likely be very large so a home with a yard is a plus. We are looking to find the best match for his needs. If you are interested in meeting him, please fill out an application. https://langefoundation.org/dog-adoption-application/

Buster
Male
14 years 3 months.
Buster
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Buster was originally with us and adopted out quickly. He was dumped at a local shelter after being in the home for 10 years and his microchip company reached out to us to let us know that he was in the pound. We rushed over and brought him back into our care. We reached out to his previous owners who said they did not have time for their pets anymore. Buster has been adjusting really well since being back with us. He is an easy going beagle mix that enjoys his walks, belly rubs, and a good nap. He is good with small and medium dogs, but a little nervous around larger dogs. He enjoys a mellow life. We are hoping that he can find a loving forever home to live out his senior years.

Cedric
Male

Cedric
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Cedric is a spunky guy who was found on the street. He was very dirty, flea-infested, matted and looked like a completely different dog! He has the most adorable underbite and a lot of personality. He enjoys going on walks and really likes other dogs. He spent a short time in a home and needs some training. He can be protective of his people and will need work with a trainer to break him of this habit. If you have additional questions about Cedric or would like to come and meet him, please email us at info@langefoundation.org.

St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
Cola
Male
1 year 0 months.
Cola
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
Cola is an adorable one year old French Bulldog. He came in with his brother 'Berk' who is the larger of the two. Both puppies entered our rescue after being surrendered from a breeding facility. The boys are always happy and excited to see people. They are playful no matter what the situation. They both had an illness coming in and it has taken months to get them free of it. Cola has been medically cleared and is ready to go home! Berk still has another week of medication and we are hoping to have him cleared soon as well. Due to their illnesses they have not been able to be kenneled together and they are so happy to see each other as they head out to their dog runs in the morning. These boys have been through so much and they deserve a loving home that will cuddle them and enjoy their silly antics. Berk loves his toys and will throw them in the air and run after them - surprised that they haven't managed to get very far. Cola enjoys yelling at his water bowl and looking for rocks to taste-test. Both will stop what they are doing when someone approaches - hoping for some attention and pets. Berk and Cola know their names, they are learning to walk on leashes and they do listen when you speak to them. They may not follow directions very well but they are alert and ready to learn! We would like to send them home together if possible. These guys are funny and loveable - please give them a chance! If you're interested in one or both of these adorable brothers, you can fill out an application at https://langefoundation.org/dog-adoption-application/

Colby
Male

Colby
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Colby is a very smart and very energetic puppy. He was rescued from the shelter where he had a broken leg. He had surgery and is all better now. You wouldn't even know there was ever a problem. He has a lot of puppy energy and loves people and other dogs. He needs a savvy owner that will train and work with him on his puppy habits (being mouthy and pulling on the leash on walks). He would not do well in a small apartment and needs some space and probably a yard to help get his energy out. He is super friendly and loves everyone. He is going to be the dream pup for a very special someone. If you are interested in meeting him, please submit an application on our website: https://langefoundation.org/dog-adoption-application/

St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
Hemmet
Male
2 years 1 month.
Hemmet
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
Hemmet is a large, loveable, pup that will cuddle in your lap if you let him. He does have a birth defect that caused a spinal malformation which in turn caused a slight compression of his spinal cord. His most recent visit to a specialist was a positive one as they found him to be thriving and exceeding their expectations. We were told that at this point we just needed to be on the look out for normal Shepard related medical issues. Hemmet is great with people and other dogs. He is a silly, sweet, good-natured dog who enjoys his daily walks and time outside. Due to his spine, Hemmet will need to be in a home where he is not constantly required to use a staircase and has access to the outdoors often with some room to run. He will need some training during his transition to home life, but he will make sure to fill your whole world with fun and love. If you want a good-looking, slightly dorky, and loyal companion, please meet Hemmet! If Hemmet sounds like a perfect fit for your family, please contact us at: Email: st.bonnies@gmail.com Phone: (661)251-5590 You can also fill out our adoption application here : https://langefoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/dogapplication.pdf

Henri
Male
5 years 2 months.
Henri
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Henri is our silly and spunky terrier mix. He was rescued from the San Bernardino shelter with lacerations down his neck. We took him immediately to the emergency vet to get the necessary surgery to repair his wounds. He is such a sweet soul who is very loving once he gets to know you. He is nervous around strangers and needs whoever adopts him to be slow and patient when introducing him to new people. He doesn't trust people right away likely due to something that happened to him before he came into our care, but once he does trust you he is very loyal. Henri is a young boy who has a lot of energy and spirit and is patiently waiting for the right person to come along.

Visit me at Lange Foundation
Nino is an energetic guy who loves going on long walks and being outside. He is a very sweet dog who is a bit misunderstood. He was in a home for seven years and then returned to us after the family had a second child and Nino was unhappy. Nino is great once he bonds with and trusts you and LOVES to give kisses. He can be really nervous when thrown into a new environment or stressful situation so it is important to go slow with him so he knows he is safe.

Male

Rudy
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Rudy is so much fun! He is young and energetic and would be a perfect hiking companion. He is a smart guy with lots of energy to burn. We rescued him from the shelter where he had wounds to his neck, chest and shoulder. We think they may have been from a dog attack because he is weary and untrusting of other dogs. With some time and patience he will overcome that obstacle but due to this we feel like he should be the only dog in the home so he feels at ease and safe. Please reach out to us if you'd like to come and meet this wonderful pup!

Swiffer
Male
12 years 4 months.
Swiffer
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Swiffer was originally rescued from the South LA shelter back in January 2014. He was quickly adopted and spent 6 years in a home. The family had a child and while they co-existed together for about 3 years, Swiffer had a difficult time adjusting to the toddler and unfortunately did bite the child. Since Swiffer has been with us he has been a total joy! He has some trust issues and will bark a lot initially when meeting a new person but he settles in fairly quickly. He would not do well in a home with young children who don't know when to give a dog space. Once Swiffer gets to know you he shows off his awesome and silly personality. He loves to go on long walks, cuddling on the couch and playing with his stuffed animals. He does well with most dogs as long as there is a proper introduction and he doesn't feel overwhelmed. He doesn't have an affinity for cats so it would be best for him to be adopted out into a cat-free home. Overall, Swiffer is a very wonderful companion, but just needs the right atmosphere to thrive!

Tex
Male
1 year 5 months.
Tex
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Tex is a sweet and energetic little guy who doesn't let anything get him down! He always have a smile on his face and he loves everyone. He was taken to the shelter after being hit by a car and had a pelvic injury. It was a very minor injury that healed with cage rest. He walks without a limp and you wouldn't even know he was every injured. Tex needs to learn some leash manners as he can be reactive to other dogs out on walks but that is something that can be worked with. He has a few doggy friends here so we know he does well with other dogs, he just get protective when he is on leash. He is a very lovable boy who will jump in your lap once he knows you. He would do well with an active family who will take him to parks and hiking.

Walter
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
Meet Walter! This old mans favorite activity is taking a nice long nap in the sun. Walter also enjoys his meandering strolls through the property, with a little assistance from his human companion. Walter is slightly vision impaired which can make him a bit head shy when it comes to pets, but loves pets along his back to get all the itchy spots. He also has arthritis, which is being managed with some medication and a new weight loss diet to ease the stress on his joints. This little guy would love a home where he can just relax, hang out and live the rest of his life in peace and comfort. If Walter has captured your heart, please contact us at: Email: st.bonnies@gmail.com Phone: (661)251-5590

Yogi
Male
4 years 2 months.
Yogi
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Yogi is an adorable little floof! Another rescue reached out to us when he was found outside of their facility tied up to a crate. His rear end was very swollen and he was having issues going to the bathroom. Their vet was booked and couldn't see him for a few weeks so they reached out to us to see if we could get him in sooner. Our friends at VCA ASEC were able to get him in right away. He had a double perineal hernia which was causing the swelling and straining. He had two surgeries to repair the hernias and is now doing great! He is super healthy and just needs a dental cleaning which is already scheduled for later this month. He has been good with other dogs and adores human attention. He is the happiest little guy. The only thing sweet Yogi needs now is a loving home!
