Boots!! She is a beautiful, bulky, bundle of love. Her little tail will wag in happiness just to meet you. All Boots wants is someone she can shower her adoration on. She will rest her large gorgeous head on you, stare up into your eyes and you won't be able to resist! She is great with children, she allowed a visiting girl scout troupe to surround her and she basked in the attention. She gets along with other mild mannered dogs and she is fine with cats. Buster
Male
13 years 8 months.
Buster
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Buster was originally with us and adopted out quickly. He was dumped at a local shelter after being in the home for 10 years and his microchip company reached out to us to let us know that he was in the pound. We rushed over and brought him back into our care. We reached out to his previous owners who said they did not have time for their pets anymore. Buster has been adjusting really well since being back with us. He is an easy going beagle mix that enjoys his walks, belly rubs, and a good nap. He is good with small and medium dogs, but a little nervous around larger dogs.He is good around kids, but sometimes needs a break to recharge. He enjoys a mellow life. We are hoping that he can find a loving forever home to live out his senior years.

Meet Dora! This sweet little old lady is a little shy at first but has been warming up to shelter staff. Don't let her age fool you! This 14 year old girl still has energy and loves to run around her yard, when she isn't getting her naps in of course. She has had a couple of tumors removed that did come back as cancerous but the doctors are optimistic that they won't return. Henri
Male
4 years 7 months.
Henri
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Henri is our silly and spunky terrier mix. He was rescued from the San Bernardino shelter with lacerations down his neck. We took him immediately to the emergency vet to get the necessary surgery to repair his wounds. He is such a sweet soul who is very loving once he gets to know you. He is nervous around strangers and needs whoever adopts him to be slow and patient when introducing him to new people. He doesn't trust people right away likely due to something that happened to him before he came into our care, but once he does trust you he is very loyal. Henri is a young boy who has a lot of energy and spirit and is patiently waiting for the right person to come along.

Potato
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Potato is a mellow and cute companion. He is a low-key senior who was a hot mess when we picked him up from the shelter. He needed some dental work and a cardio workup. He is on daily medication now for a heart murmur and we got his teeth cleaned and he was neutered. He is feeling so great now and loves to follow us around the office! He loves to go on walks but will sometimes want to be carried back because he gets tired. He is a very loving boy who would love to spend his golden years in a home.

Punky
Female
5 years 11 months.
Punky
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Punky is a retired breeding dog that came into our care through animal control. They contacted us to take her in and help find her the right home. She had some breathing issues that are common with her breed but had palate surgery and is doing much better now. She is a strong lady but such a love. She really likes to go on walks, is great in the car and is super outgoing and friendly. She needs a bit more socialization around other dogs as she is selective of which ones she does and doesn't like. She isn't a fan of cats... she knows they're up to no good. So she would do best in a home without any feline friends.

Radar
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
Meet Radar! Originally brought into the county animal shelter as a stray, it was there that his upper jaw abnormality was noted, but around here we think it just adds to his outgoing personality! He loves everyone and enjoys his yard time and playing with our other small dogs. Radar is always ready to get his zoomies in and only stops so he can get a hug from a staff member and then instantly resume his happy race. Radar is a little sweetheart who just wants to enjoy life in a home with people he can love.

Rocky is a sweet and gentle boy who was surrendered to the shelter by his owner. He has been very shy with us so far and is very skittish. He would do best in a home with another dog.

Rosie
Female
2 years 4 months.
Rosie
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
Meet Rosie! Rosie is a Frenchie/Pittie mix. This combination has created the most adorable creature ever. Frenchie ears, strong Pittie body. Rosie is approximately 22 inches to her shoulder and 21 inches in length. She weighs in at 51 pounds. At 2 years old this is about as big as she will get. Rosie is a strong bundle of energy who, with the right training, will be a fun, loving, companion. We have introduced her to cats and she seems to be interested yet respectful. She can be a bit overeager to meet other dogs but in the shelter environment its difficult to asses. She is excited to meet people and will joyously jump in the air but will soon calm down and ask for belly rubs. This wonderful girl needs a family that is prepared for her exuberant energy and strength. She requires daily exercise and LOTS of loving attention. If Rosie sounds like a perfect fit for your family, please email us at st.bonnies@gmail.com or call (661)251-5590 for more information. Lange Foundation
Swiffer
Male
11 years 9 months.
Swiffer
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Swiffer was originally rescued from the South LA shelter back in January 2014. He was quickly adopted and spent 6 years in a home. The family had a child and while they co-existed together for about 3 years, Swiffer had a difficult time adjusting to the toddler and unfortunately did bite the child. Since Swiffer has been with us he has been a total joy! He has some trust issues and will bark a lot initially when meeting a new person but he settles in fairly quickly. He would not do well in a home with young children who don't know when to give a dog space. Once Swiffer gets to know you he shows off his awesome and silly personality. He loves to go on long walks, cuddling on the couch and playing with his stuffed animals. He does well with most dogs as long as there is a proper introduction and he doesn't feel overwhelmed. He doesn't have an affinity for cats so it would be best for him to be adopted out into a cat-free home. Overall, Swiffer is a very wonderful companion, but just needs the right atmosphere to thrive!

Female
10 years 3 months.
Tatum
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Tatum is AMAZING. We rescued her after she was hit by a car. She had surgery to fix her back leg and hip and another surgery to remove some bladder stones and she is recovering well. She currently goes to physical therapy twice a week to try to regain strength in her back left leg. She has no feeling in that paw and mostly uses that leg as a kick stand of sorts for support. She hops around and is not in any pain. Tatum is super friendly and so sweet. She loves cats, dogs, and people. She is very easy going and a definite staff favorite.

Walter
Male
12 years 5 months.
Walter
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
Meet Walter! This old mans favorite activity is taking a nice long nap in the sun. Walter also enjoys his meandering strolls through the property, with a little assistance from his human companion. Walter is slightly vision impaired which can make him a bit head shy when it comes to pets, but loves pets along his back to get all the itchy spots. He also has arthritis, which is being managed with some medication and a new weight loss diet to ease the stress on his joints. This little guy would love a home where he can just relax, hang out and live the rest of his life in peace and comfort. If Walter has captured your heart, please contact us at: email: st.bonnies@gmail.com phone: (661)251-5590 You can also fill out our adoption application here : https://langefoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/dogapplication.pdf

All healed now, Woody enjoys his people, spinning in circles, squeaky toys, and playing with other puppies. He loves attention and will curl up in your lap when he has finally tired himself out. Woody still has some growing to do but his noodle shaped body won't get too big. Come meet Woody and find yourself entertained. His happiness is contagious!
