Addison is an irresistibly cute terrier mix puppy with a charming little underbite, striking eyes, and the coolest multicolor coat- just as adorable as her personality! She and her brother Aiden were rescued from the Palmdale Animal Shelter after being overlooked for more than ten days, and we can’t imagine why because Addison is simply the sweetest. This playful pup loves to romp around the yard with her brother and other friendly dogs, chasing, tumbling, and playing endless games of tag and tug-of-war. When she’s not running around, Addison keeps herself happily entertained with her favorite toys or comes trotting over to be scooped up and cradled like a baby, showing off her tiny lower teeth with pride. Sweet, silly, and full of love, Addison is full of puppy energy, cuddly charm and she is more than ready to bring smiles and joy to his forever family. Ash
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Ash has been through more than most dogs should, but you’d never know it from his calm, kind-hearted nature. This sweet boy came to us after his owner became homeless, and he arrived in rough shape—matted, covered in ticks, and feeling pretty unwell. Thankfully, he was able to recover in a loving foster home and is now happy, healthy, and ready for his next chapter. Now settling into our kennel, Ash is showing us what a truly special dog he is. He’s mellow, affectionate, and gets along well with other dogs. He takes everything in stride and seems to be just grateful to be safe, clean, and cared for. Ash would thrive in a home where he can enjoy a steady routine and gentle companionship. |

Brady
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Brady is a loving senior dog who enjoys quiet companionship and knows exactly what he wants. He adores curling up next to you on the couch or snuggling in bed at night, and he’s especially sweet and affectionate in the mornings. Brady communicates clearly through his body language—when he needs space, he’ll let you know by becoming still or reserved, and he appreciates being given that respect. He prefers to eat and nap undisturbed, and can be sensitive to distractions or sudden activity around him. But call his name, and he’ll often come happily to you. With patience, time, and someone who can tune into his cues, Brady will reward you with deep trust and affection. He’s looking for a calm, understanding home where he can enjoy his golden years in peace and comfort. Brady is truly a gem for the right person—someone who sees the beauty in a dog who loves on his own terms. |

Candy Female10 months.
Candy
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
True to her name, Candy is as sweet as can be! This adorable 9-month-old Mini Poodle is full of love, life, and sugar-coated charm. She came to us from the shelter with ear mites, which have since been treated, and now she’s feeling her best and ready to find her forever home! Candy has all the fun puppy energy you could hope for. She loves to bounce around, play tug-of-war, chase her favorite stuffed toys, and even taught herself how to fetch (and bring it back!) all on her own. But she’s also perfectly content relaxing quietly when playtime is over, showing just how well-rounded she is for a pup her age. Because Candy spent some time in isolation before coming to us, she’s very affectionate with people, adores any attention, and often wants to be right by your side, or better yet, in your lap. When it comes to other small dogs around her size, she is still learning how to properly socialize but we are continuing to work with her through exposure and positive reinforcement everyday and she is making huge strides. Interestingly, Candy has no trouble at all with larger breed, friendly dogs and would happily thrive in a home with a big canine buddy. Sweet, smart, and full of heart, Candy is ready to share her love (and her toys!) with a forever family who will continue guiding her as she grows. Meet Canicas, a sweet and smart pup rescued through our San Bernardino Intervention Program. Canicas had a rough start — he had ingested numerous foxtails that became lodged in his mouth, leading to a serious infection. After undergoing a dental procedure with 33 extractions, he's now fully recovered and ready to find his forever home! Canicas is a playful, curious, and incredibly friendly dog who loves to interact with both people and other animals. He gets along well with other dogs and even cats, making him an excellent addition to any household. His name, "Canicas," means "Marbles" in English, and he comes from a Spanish-speaking home, so he understands Spanish commands — a fun little quirk that makes him even more unique! Canicas is sure to be a loving, loyal companion who will bring joy and fun to any family. |

Hades has completed 4 weeks in a training facility but would benefit from continued training because of his large, powerful size. Hades would do best in a home with an active family or person and will require a home with high fencing as he can jump over most standard fences. Marvin
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Marvin is a sweet, mellow little guy who just wants a cozy lap and a kind heart to call his own. We rescued him from the San Bernardino Shelter, where he arrived as a stray with a few wounds, including a painful foxtail embedded in his paw. Since then, he’s healed up beautifully and is ready for the next chapter of his life. Marvin can be shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, he melts into affection and loves to snuggle. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. Like many dogs with a rough start, Marvin is still learning to feel fully secure. He can be sensitive around high-value items and may guard them, which is something a patient adopter can work on with the support of a positive-reinforcement trainer. Because of this, Marvin would do best in an adult-only home with someone experienced or willing to learn how to support him as he continues to build confidence. He has a bite history, which we’re happy to discuss in more detail with interested adopters — transparency is important to us, and we believe Marvin deserves a chance with someone who understands his needs. He’s also managing some skin allergies and is on medication that’s been helping him feel much more comfortable. Marvin is a good boy who’s come a long way. He just needs the right match — someone kind, patient, and ready to let him shine. |

Waffles also loves to play with water from our hose or the splash pad, but most of all, he loves to jump in our pool for his daily swim in the warmer months. He also knows several commands like sit, down, and paw. He is very treat and toy motivated and very smart so training him to do nearly anything should be a breeze! Mr. Waffles is definitely a high energy dog that will require a family that can keep up by either playing with him in the yard, going swimming, or frequent walks. Meet Raffi, a darling 9-year-old Maltese who came to us after his beloved owner sadly passed away. Raffi spent his life surrounded by love, and it truly shows in his gentle nature and affectionate heart. He has the kind of calm, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around, yet he still has a playful sparkle that comes out when he rolls happily in the grass or plays in the office with his best buddy, our 1-year-old Chihuahua, Sparky, showing that even at 9 years young, Raffi still knows how to have fun! Raffi does have a mildly collapsed trachea, a common condition in small and senior dogs, but it’s well managed with two daily medications that he happily gobbles up in some chicken or a pill pocket. With simple care like using a harness instead of a collar, and a bi-annual vet check up, Raffi can live a long and happy life. Because Raffi gets along beautifully with everyone- dogs, cats, and people alike- he’s become our official “tester” pup for new arrivals. He’s steady, social, endlessly kind, patient and tolerant. Get ready to fall in love with Stitch! This little blue mystery rescue decided to make a dramatic entrance on July 3rd, looking like a tiny, blue, very unwell mop at our shelter partner in San Bernardino. With ears that could pick up satellite signals, legs that defy logic, and the sweetest green eyes, we knew immediately she was special – and desperately needed help. She was so sick, we practically red-carpeted her straight to the ER! Turns out, Stitch had been battling some serious tummy troubles for days. Dehydration, an infection, and a possible obstruction meant she was going under the knife. Did we hesitate? Nope! Kisses, snuggles, and a "go get 'em, tiger" later, we handed our precious cargo over to the vet team. Four days later our little fighter was discharged! Stitch is a true testament to resilience and the power of second chances. She's goofy, brave, and already deeply loved. Follow her journey as she heals and prepares to find her furrever family! |
