Atticus came to us through our San Bernardino Intervention Program after his previous owner, heartbroken but overwhelmed, surrendered him. As an indoor/outdoor cat, Atticus had been getting into scuffles with other neighborhood cats, and it just wasn’t safe for him anymore. Now neutered, safe, and settling into his new environment, Atticus is thriving. This big, handsome boy is FIV-positive, but don’t let that worry you—cats with FIV can live long, healthy, and happy lives with the right care. Autumn is a beautiful 1-year-old torbie who came with her two kittens, Luna and Draco who have since been adopted. Meet Beignet, a playful tabby with an endless curiosity about what the other kitties are up to. Confident in new situations, he quickly adapts to his surroundings. We rescued Bill with his mom and siblings from the East Valley Shelter. They came in from the medical ward an unfortunately had ringworm. After several weeks of treatment they are finally clear and ready to be adopted! Bill is the biggest of his siblings and is a very chill, cuddly guy. He loves to cuddle and play with his siblings and would do best in a home with one of them or another cat to be his friend.

Blueberry is a playful, cuddly, and all-around amazing cat who’s already overcome so much in her young life. Buckaroo arrived to us with her 6 sisters who have now all been adopted and somehow this cutie is still looking for her forever home! She likes to make her feelings known as she asks for love and attention often. Her favorite thing to do is hop up in your lap and settle down for pets and a nap as she purrs loudly. Buttons was abandoned as a small kitten at our front door along with her siblings. She is a very happy and playful girl. She will chirp at us for attention and loves to run around to get her zoomies out. She settles down for a good cuddle session and is overall a very good girl! Chickpea is a very shy kitten who was rescued from a garden center with her mom and siblings. She has come a very long way from the grumpy, hissy girl we first met. She is slowly starting to trust us and letting us pet her. She is still very nervous and untrusting but we know that with some more time she will continue to open up and trust people.

Clementine is a soft, sweet soul who came to us with her siblings and has been slowly but surely blossoming in our care. Though she’s still shy around people, she’s making progress every day—and we’re so proud of how far she’s come. This gentle girl adores other cats and would thrive in a home with a confident feline friend to help her continue coming out of her shell. She loves burrowing in cozy blankets, chasing a laser pointer, and batting at a wand toy when she thinks no one’s watching. As a kitten, Clementine was diagnosed with FIP, but she completed treatment like a champ and is now healthy and thriving. She may need a little extra time and patience, but the reward is watching her personality bloom—and it’s absolutely worth it.

Cleo is a shy beauty with the prettiest eyes. She was from a backyard hoarding situation where she had recently given birth. We were able to find a wonderful foster for her and her two kittens and they all have come out of their shell so much! She is still pretty shy around new people and situations but she is warming up more and more every day. We can't wait to see her personality blossom more and help her find her forever home!

Darla is a total lovebug with the gentlest soul. Once she’s had a little time to settle in, she gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and respectful children. She’s a sweet, affectionate girl who wins over everyone she meets—just ask her vets, who absolutely adore her! Darla does have some allergies, but they’re well managed with medication and a special diet. Despite this, she’s a happy, healthy kitty who’s full of love to give. This sweet and mellow girl was rescued from a junkyard in Compton, and she’s been winning hearts ever since. She enjoys the quiet life and will happily spend her days lounging near you, soaking up the calm. We rescued Effie from the shelter where she was going to be euthanized due to her leg deformity. Her right rear leg does not extend and stays tucked in and twisted toward her body. She requires no extra care because of this and is otherwise healthy. It does not cause her any pain. Effie gets around just fine on three legs and loves to run around and play. She loves all sorts of toys. Effie is a little nervous at first, especially when she is first approached, but she likes being pet, held, and cuddled and she definitely warms up quickly! She is very cute and very special. Her best friend is Madeline and they are always cuddling or playing. They need to be adopted into a home together.

Erica is a beautiful girl with unique face markings. She was rescued as a newborn with her brother Jackson and mom from Lancaster Shelter. She enjoys exploring the cat enclosure, nosing in on other cat activities and making sure she is seen. Erica can be a little hand shy, but after some playtime and just talking with her she opens up beautifully. Erica is a playful, fun cat that is ready to find a forever home!

Everett is fearless. He was born in a backyard cat hoarding situation and was the only one of his siblings to survive. One of our staff members fostered him to make sure he was growing healthy and strong. He is the most outgoing boy! He likes to play hard and adores other cats. He loves to climb, jump and wrestle. Once he tires himself out he is the most cuddly boy who is content with curling up in your lap. He developed FIP but recovered well! Since he has so much energy he would do best in a home with another cat to help tire him out. He is a wonderful boy who is going to make someone very happy!

Our little Gabby was originally found living in a car engine with her brother Glenn. They were safely taken out and brought into our care. Both kitten took time to feel safe and secure, but slowly they began to trust our staff and open up. Gabby was the first of the pair to let her guard down and allow for pets. She is still on a journey to fully open up her heart, but she has made such strides and we know she will blossom even more in the right environment. She is playful and curious and is now making new friends, both feline and human!

Glenn is a sweet and curious young boy with a soft spot for sparkly toys and tiny plush mice. Rescued from a car engine as a kitten alongside his sister Gabby, Glenn has come a long way from his shy beginnings. With patience and love, he's slowly opened up, and we’re seeing more of his charming personality every day. He now chirps a cheerful “hello” when we walk into the room, and he purrs like a little engine when receiving gentle pets. Glenn is still a bit wary of loud noises and sudden movements, but he’s learning to trust—and it's been such a joy to watch his confidence grow. Glenn would thrive in a quiet, calm home with another young, friendly cat to show him the ropes and share in the fun.

Gumbo was part of a TNR event but after being released he was injured and his microchip led him back to us. His rough start on the streets led him to be FIV positive but he gets along great with most other cats. With his compromised immune system, he developed FIP and was very anemic. After a blood transfusion, a lot of love and FIP medication he bounced back. He is healthy and strong again and just the sweetest boy. His fur is extra soft and he loves to burrow in blankets when he isn't cuddling with his favorite humans. He would probably be happiest as a solo cat in the household but if he has feline friends he gets along best with females. He isn't a huge fan of large male cats because he feels like he needs to compete. He is a talkative, charming boy who deserves to live a pampered life.

Ham was found as a stray with his sister Wendy. They were dropped off at OC Animal Control and were marked for euthanasia due to overcrowding at the shelter. We had someone transport them to us and even though they were very timid at first, they found comfort in each other and really started to open up when we gave them toys. Ham likes to burrow in blankets and pillow cases. He was initially very shy but after two days he was meowing at us and rubbing up on us for pets. He is a very mellow and loving boy who cuddles with his sister and loves to play! He would ideally like to find a home with Wendy but would be ok in a home with another young cat.

Hayk and his sister Selah were brought to the shelter after their owner was deported. They were very confused, scared and shy. We took them in and they are the sweetest cats. Hayk is definitely more outgoing and is adjusting more quickly. He is chatty, loving and very cuddly. He is very bonded with Selah and we are looking for a hone for them together.

Holland came to us as a young kitten, along with her sister Marquette, after a compassionate Samaritan rescued their entire family. Of the group, Holland was the shyest—but with time, patience, and love, she has blossomed into a sweet and social girl. These days, Holland will chirp to ask for pets, loves to play, and can often be found wrestling or cuddling with Marquette. Her bond with her sister is strong, and they bring out the best in each other. Holland and Marquette are looking for a forever home together where they can continue to thrive and share their love.

Honeydew is a very shy girl who we took in with her siblings. She is starting to open up and it is so rewarding to see her progress! She will let us pick her up and hold her and she likes to be pet. She definitely needs to be in a home with another young cat so she can feel comfortable.

We rescued Hot Chocolate from Orange County Animal Care because she had a broken pelvis and needed medical care.She is extremely friendly, loves to burrow in her blankets, and always makes biscuits. She is the best and would make a great lap cat.

Iguana was rescued from a hoarding situation with his siblings. He is very shy and we have been working with him to get him more comfortable with people. He loves to cuddle and play with other cats and we know with more time he will open up. He is still very timid and skittish so he needs a patient owner and a quiet home preferably with another young mellow cat or his brother Newt.

Ingrid is a sweet and shy young girl who we rescued with her three kittens. She is very shy with new people but over time we have gained her trust. She likes other cats and loves being in quiet nooks or cat trees. She is very treat motivated and will meow for Churu treats. She likes Temptations treats and puzzle feeders. Ingrid would love a calm and quiet home with a patient owner who understands that she will need some time to feel comfortable and relaxed. Once she knows you, she loves to lick your hand and roll over for belly rubs!

Jade was found as a stray and taken to the East Valley Shelter. She is such a mellow and loving girl. She settled in very quickly and loves getting pets and attention. We are still getting to know her personality but so far she has been a laid back, love bug.

Is there anything cuter than a cat with socks?! We don't think so and that's only ONE of the great things about Jambalaya! This sweet girl came in with her 4 siblings and mom and has really just made this place home and befriended everyone she meets. Jinks is a senior girl who we rescued back in 2014 after she had been attacked by a dog and was only about a year old. She was quickly adopted by one of our volunteers and lived happily in their home for 11 years. Unfortunately, her world was turned upside down when her owner passed away. With no one else able to take her in, she came back to us and was very shaken. She was grumpy and untrusting. After a little bit of time and TLC, Jinks realized that she was in a safe place and started to let her guard down. Now, she happily accepts pets but will tell you when she's had enough. She knows what she wants and when she wants it. She is a sassy girl with a silly personality and we love her diva attitude. She doesn't care for other cats but tolerates their presence. She would love to find her way back into a home where she can be pampered and unbothered by other pets. She would do best in a mellow home with a laid back owner who wants a cat who will hang out, play occasionally and be a loyal, loving companion.

Kingfisher was rescued from an apartment complex in Compton when he was just four weeks old, along with his mama Kestrel and siblings Kea and Kookaburra. Starting out very shy, Kingfisher is now blossoming every day. Though he’s still a bit skittish, Kingfisher loves to play and quickly warms up once toys come out. He often cuddles with his siblings or other kittens. With patience, love, and plenty of playtime, Kingfisher is ready to gain even more confidence and become a loving companion for the right family.

Laney was rescued from the shelter along with her mom and sister, and she faced a big challenge early on—she was diagnosed with FIP. Thanks to excellent care, Laney made a full recovery over a year ago and is now healthy, happy, and eager to find her forever family! She’s a playful, cuddly sweetheart who adores other cats and loves being around feline friends. Laney’s outgoing personality shines through, making her a joy to be around. Meet Lannister, an adorable little guy that has completely blossomed since being in our care. He and his siblings arrived at only a few weeks old and were absolutely terrified of everything. We have spent the last few months spending every spare second to socialize them and all the hard work has paid off. It turns out that Lannister is an extremely loving and affectionate little kitten. Though he may be a bit shy at first, he quickly warms up and will show you all the cuteness he has stored inside him. He will often follow us as we leave the room and mew at the door in hopes that we will quickly return to keep him company. He loves to rub up on the walls, your leg, enjoys play time with other kittens his age, loves to cling onto the older cats, and is an all around rockstar. His best friends are his siblings Bolton and Shae and ideally we would find them a home as a pair. We are so proud of how far Lannister has come and are confident that he would make an incredible friend to anyone that adopts him.

Lilly recently finished raising her litter of six kittens and now that her mom duties are done, she’s ready to find a home of her own. She’s affectionate, loves attention and pets, and coexists well with other cats here at the ranch but is much happier when given space away from them. Because of this, Lilly would be perfectly being the only spoiled pet in a home but could also do well with another mild mannered feline roommate. Little Lou is quite the firecracker. He and his siblings were rescued as strays in Mid-City LA, and Lou has adjusted quickly and easily to living indoors. He loves toys, specifically mouse and wand toys, and making biscuits is his specialty! He is a very sweet brother to Tina, and always makes her feel welcome wherever they are. Lou has been helping her come out of her shell, and they are looking for a forever home together!

We rescued Madeline from the shelter because she had a ruptured eye. It needed to be removed but she doesn't mind at all. She is sweet, cuddly and loves to sit in your lap. She is extremely playful and often gets the zoomies. She loves to run around and explore and play with new toys. She is best friends with Effie and they are always napping or playing together. Magnolia is a stunning orange girl with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Rescued from a hoarding situation, she needed a little time to settle in—but once she realized she was safe, her sweet and affectionate personality came shining through. Marquette and her sister Holland were rescued as young kittens by a kind-hearted Samaritan. Initially shy and unsure of people, these sisters have blossomed with time, patience, and lots of love. Marquette has grown into a confident, affectionate girl who often leads the way for her more reserved sister. She loves to perch in high-up spots, nap belly-up, and spend her days playing and wrestling with Holland. Minky is a very sweet, young cat who had a rough start in life. She was surrendered to the shelter after a month with living with a prolapsed rectum. Despite her medical issue, Minky was still loving, affectionate and playful. After we rescued her she required three separate surgeries to correct the prolapse. Now her bum is normal and she is comfortable and happy. She is so affectionate and she can't wait to find her forever family.

Mint Chip was rescued in October because he had a right femoral fracture. He has since recovered and is now ready for adoption. He is friendly, cuddly and loves to play. He had since become friends with Rocky Road. They had the same injury/surgery and have bonded over it. They love to cuddle and play together. He would do best in a home with Rocky Road or another young cat or kitten.

Mira is a dainty young lady with striking amber eyes and a sleek black coat. We rescued her from the shelter just after she gave birth to a litter of kittens. She spent the next few months in a loving foster home, where she raised her babies and slowly came out of her shell. Now that her mom duties are behind her, Mira is ready for a home of her own. Once she feels safe and comfortable, she’ll reward you with sweet little chirps and soft chats - letting you know when it’s time for pets, play, or food. She especially loves ear and chin scratches and will occasionally ask for gentle pets along her back. Mira is also quite independent. She’s happy to quietly perch nearby while you work or relax. If you work from home, she might pop in to supervise and make sure you're staying on task. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance but loving companion, Mira could be the perfect fit. Miss Rococo is a beautiful tuxedo kitty with the most gorgeous golden eyes we've ever seen. This pretty lady came in with her four babies she raised amazingly when she was still just a kitten herself, and now she's ready to settle down with her forever family! Miss Rococo does awesome with other cats and is often the cat we introduce new cats to due to her mellow nature to show them it's ok to get cozy here. Moonpie is the most playful, friendly kitten! Meet Mounds, a sweet senior looking to spend his golden years being spoiled in the lap of luxury. Mounds found his home as a young cat but was sadly recently returned to us after his owner of 12 years passed away. Since returning, Mounds has adjusted wonderfully and loves to hang out with all the cats, staff, and volunteers. He recently had his last two teeth removed but that hasn't stopped him from living his life to the fullest or stopped his love of treats. He is a gentle soul that would add so much love to any home.

Newt came to us as an undersocialized kitten rescued from a hoarding situation. Understandably, he started off very shy—but with time, patience, and love, he’s really started to blossom. These days, Newt enjoys spending time with people and is becoming more playful and curious. He still has a gentle, cautious nature and can be a bit skittish in new situations, so he’d thrive in a calm, mellow home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace. Ollie is an affectionate and mellow cat who was abandoned at our front door. She was heavily pregnant and started going into labor shortly after arriving here. We were able to get her into foster so she and the babies would have a nice, quiet place to grow up. After the kittens were weaned we took her back and now she is spayed and ready for adoption! Orange Juice and his brother, Tang, came to us from the South LA Shelter. They are a handsome pair of bonded brothers looking for a forever home together. Orange Juice is very curious, loves to play with feather toys and is such a happy boy.

Ozzy and his housemate Sasha Fierce were intercepted by our Intervention Counselor in San Bernardino. Their owner was homeless and living in a car with the cats and two dogs. Ozzy is a very sensitive boy. He loves to be pet and to burrow under blankets and in cubbies. He was very shy and shaken when he first came to us but has blossomed into a confident, cuddly boy. He is so affectionate and seeks out love from our staff and volunteers. He is a large, tender soul who would love to find a calm and quiet forever home. He would be happy to be adopted with Sasha Fierce, but they are not bonded and can be adopted separately.

Pear and her brother Plum were rescued from a garden center where they were born, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. This sweet, curious girl has blossomed beautifully—once shy, Pear is now playful, affectionate, and full of personality. She loves to chase toys, cuddle up for naps, and is often found wrestling or snuggling with Plum. Their bond is truly special, and Pear would be happiest in a home where they can stay together. Pear gets along well with other cats and has grown so much in confidence since coming into care. Meet Peep, a sweet little girl that was intercepted from entering the Castaic animal shelter when she and her siblings were orphaned at only 3 weeks old. After spending another 3 weeks in foster, growing and learning how to be a growing kitty, Peep is now back at the ranch and ready for her furever family. We rescued Pennywise with his mom and siblings from the East Valley Shelter. They came in from the medical ward an unfortunately had ringworm. After several weeks of treatment they are finally clear and ready to be adopted! Pennywise is an outgoing and curious guy! He loves all toys and exploring new spaces. He loves to cuddle and play with his siblings and would do best in a home with one of them or another cat to be his friend.

Pepita is a beautiful young cat who was adopted from the shelter and then returned because she had an upper respiratory infection. We scooped her up and treated the URI. She was having some food allergies which would cause her to drool excessively but being on a single protein diet resolved the issue. She is now in a room with other cats and getting to know everyone. She is a chatty girl who is very affectionate and will be a great addition to anyone's home.

Percy is a total character—sweet, playful, and full of life! He’s overcome a lot as a kitten, including a broken leg and FIP, but he made a full recovery and hasn’t looked back since. Percy loves people and thrives on attention. He’s confident, outgoing, and likes to be the alpha cat in the house. He’ll show you his affection with little love bites and lots of playful antics. Plum and his sister Pear were rescued from a garden center where they were born, and they share a special bond that keeps them close. Plum is a bit more shy than Pear, but their personalities balance each other perfectly. Poppy is a petite and beautiful kitty, as lovely as the flower she’s named after. She was sadly overlooked at the shelter because of her cloudy right eye, but after a thorough exam by our vet, we learned it doesn’t affect her well-being in any way. Her cornea carries a scar from an old infection when she was younger, but the eye still functions and has vision, is mostly cosmetic, and does not cause her any pain, discomfort, negatively affect her quality of life, and does not require any medication. This gentle girl has a calm, low-key personality and enjoys simple pleasures like bird watching out the window, curling up on a cozy cat tree, or lounging on a soft bed. She’s a pretty low-maintenance kitty and would make the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a peaceful, easygoing cat who still frequently seeks love and attention from those around her. She has lived comfortably around many cats and kittens at the sanctuary, though she prefers when her feline friends are calm, respectful of her space, and allow her a few days to get to know each other. And to our surprise, she’s also done wonderfully with the two small dogs we’ve introduced her to, showing that she could happily share a home with a sweet, cat-friendly pup. Rocky Road was rescued in October because he had a distal femoral fracture. He had surgery and is now fully recovered. He has become really close with Mint Chip who we rescued on the same day with a similar injury. They have been sharing a kennel and cuddle and play all the time. We would love for them to find a home for them together if possible but he would also be happy to be in a home with another young cat or kitten.

Rosalia was rescued from the South LA Shelter after being brought in as a stray. This tiny girl may be petite in size, but she’s full of charm and sweetness. At first, Rosalia was a little shy, but with patience and love, she’s blossomed into a playful, affectionate kitty with a wonderfully quirky personality. One of her favorite pastimes? Lying on her back, gazing up at the ceiling, and wiggling around for belly rubs—she’s a total goofball in the best way. Rosalia is sure to bring joy, laughter, and love to the lucky person who welcomes her in. She would be happiest as a solo cat.

Salsa was a very shy kitten when she first came to us but soon after she settled in she became a very cuddly and playful cat. She was diagnosed with neurological FIP and had a hard time beating it. Luckily after months of treatment she is now doing so much better. She is vision impaired but can see well enough to get around and play with her favorite sparkly toys. Early on in her FIP diagnosis, she lost use of her hind legs but regained movement during treatment. She is still a little wobbly on her back legs but they are getting stronger and it doesn't interfere with her zoomies and you would be surprised at how fast she can be! She has been such a champion at adapting to her new life. She is a very sweet girl who loves to chirp at us for attention and lean against us for pets. She has the cutest, gentlest little mews that will steal your heart. Sometimes she takes a minute to warm up to new people but once she knows that she is safe and loved she really blossoms.

Saltine is a very sweet girl who we rescued after she was found on the streets. She is very friendly and mellow. She loves to be pet and doesn't feel the need to be the center of attention. She likes to give kisses and soft love-bites. She has gotten along well with the other cats but would be happy as a solo pet. Ozzy and his housemate Sasha Fierce were intercepted by our Intervention Counselor in San Bernardino. Their owner was homeless and living in a car with the cats and two dogs. Sasha is a sweet, long-haired girl who takes a minute to adjust to change but once she is comfortable she is so outgoing! She is chatty and asks for pets. She is a senior girl who has IBD but it is being managed well with a limited ingredient diet. She is looking forward to spending her golden years in a stable and mellow home.

Selah and her brother Hayk were brought to the shelter after their owner was deported. They were very confused, scared and shy. We took them in and they are the sweetest cats. Selah is more shy than her brother and it has taken her a little longer to get comfortable. It is a very big change but she is constantly cuddling with Hayk and is so happy that they are still together. Since they are so bonded we will not split them up and they need to be adopted together. Selah is getting more comfortable day by day and showing us her sweet personality.

Meet Souffle, our playful tuxedo looking for his forever family! Souffle was brought to us after being found in a dumpster with his siblings and mom, Brie, at only two days old. Brie and the kennel staff did an amazing job raising Souffle and his siblings and is really shows. Souffle is incredible well adjusted, confident, outgoing, and friendly. He is usually one of the first cats to approach staff and volunteers when they come to hang out on the catio. Souffle is definitely a big boy for his age but it just means all the more love to give! Stanley’s journey hasn’t been easy. He was found as a stray and brought to the East Valley Shelter with several wounds. He was very scared and unsure about everything. After he came into our care, with TLC and vet care he healed up and is feeling more confident. He is a very social and cuddly boy. He loves to be pet, laying in sunny spots and playing with wand toys. He is a little timid around the other cats but is slowly adjusting. Tabasco is the most friendly boy with the squishiest face! He was abandoned by his owner and was being fed by a neighbor for several years. He had so many scars on him it was clear he had a really rough life on the street. To top it all off he is positive for FIV and also has tummy issues which is managed by monthly B-12 injections and daily medication. He recently had surgery on his hip and is doing wonderful. He has been the most cuddly boy with us. He has been particular about the cats he likes and doesn't like so we think he would be happiest as a solo cat. Wendy was found as a stray with her brother Ham. They were dropped off at OC Animal Control and were marked for euthanasia due to overcrowding at the shelter. We had someone transport them to us and even though they were very timid at first, they found comfort in each other and really started to open up when we gave them toys. Wendy is more shy than her brother but gives cute little chirps when she wants pets. She is very curious but will take some time to open up to new people. Introducing Yuki, a kindhearted, playful kitten who is as sweet as his name sounds which means snow is Japanese. Yuki loves discovering new places around the ranch and meeting every new animal and person who stops by. Zeke was surrendered to the Palmdale shelter for bloody urine. He had a full urinary blockage and bladder stones. He received surgery and is now doing great! He is a friendly boy who loves to be pet and is getting along with the other cats well.
