Bruce
Male
10 years 7 months.
Bruce
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
Bruce is a goofy man who came from the Palmdale Animal Shelter as a stray. He is 10 years old and has a love for life and people. He unfortunately is in kidney failure and his time left is unknown. We are desperately seeking a family who will provide Bruce with the comfort and joy that comes from having a family. Bruce needs to be in a home with no cats but he gets along with most other dogs. His eye sight and hearing is not the best but he gets around without a hitch. Bruce has a great big smile and so much love to give to anyone willing to open up their arms to him.

Visit me at Lange Foundation
Burt was rescued from the East Valley Shelter after being found as a stray. The shelter staff immediately noted some odd breathing habits and reached out to rescues to get him to a specialist. He is now in our care and will see an internal medicine vet at the end of the month. We will know more about his condition and what he will need going forward.

Dante`
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
Dante came us very scared and timid due to his previous owners neglecting and abusing him. He was extremely malnourished and has been flourishing with a new diet and feeding schedule. Due to his trauma, he is very fearful of humans and is still learning how to socialize. He has warmed up to staff and will do great in a patient home where he will taken out for daily hikes and walks.

Max
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
Max is a sweet little 14 year old man. You will absolutely melt when you see his handsome face in person. Max is an older boy with a bit of stiffness in his hind legs and an old injury on his eye that needs no intervention. His favorite thing to do is lounge in his bed and people watch. He is still a happy little potato and is ready to live out his golden years in luxury and comfort.

Nova
Female
11 years 2 months.
Nova
Visit me at St. Bonnie's Sanctuary
Nova was turned into the Lancaster Shelter as a stray. It seems as though she had a home at one time, but was kept as an outside only dog. She does know basic commands and is a giant sweet heart. Staff here at St. Bonnie's call her a big baby because she enjoys being coddled. She loves the company of people, but does not care for other dogs. Nova's ideal home would be a single dog home where she was able to be inside and part of the family. Nova unfortunately has recently lost the use of her back leg. She lost some nerve connections and we are currently working with her in hopes she will make those necessary connections once more. We are currently walking her with a sling and she does have her good days where she needs little assistance but most days we are supporting most of her weight during walks. She does great in her wheel chair and zooms past us when on wheels. We are looking for an adopter with previous experience in this sort of issue. She is a sweet and snuggly girl ready for her true forever home. --- St. Bonnie's Sanctuary (Lange Foundation) is located in Canyon Country, CA. If you would like to meet any of our animals, please call us at (661) 251-5590 or email at st.bonnies@gmail.com. We adopt to families/people in the Southern California area only. Lange Foundation

Swiffer
Male
10 years 3 months.
Swiffer
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Swiffer was originally rescued from the South LA shelter back in January 2014. He was quickly adopted and spent 6 years in a home. The family had a child and while they co-existed together for about 3 years, Swiffer had a difficult time adjusting to the toddler and unfortunately did bite the child. Since Swiffer has been with us he has been a total joy! He has some trust issues and will bark a lot initially when meeting a new person but he settles in fairly quickly. He would not do well in a home with young children who don't know when to give a dog space. Once Swiffer gets to know you he shows off his awesome and silly personality. He loves to go on long walks, cuddling on the couch and playing with his stuffed animals. He does well with most dogs as long as there is a proper introduction and he doesn't feel overwhelmed. He doesn't have an affinity for cats so it would be best for him to be adopted out into a cat-free home. Overall, Swiffer is a very wonderful companion, but just needs the right atmosphere to thrive!
