Apple
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Apple is such an adorable guy! He and three other dogs were intercepted before they could go to the shelter from a breeder. He has been such a joy since we have had him here! He is a young guy but had some pretty bad teeth. When we had him neutered he had a dental cleaning with 19 extractions! He is feeling much better now and he cannot wait to find his forever family. He has sime food allergies but does great on a limited ingredient diet. He is so much fun to take on walks and hang out with in our office. Whoever adopts this gem is going to be so lucky! |

August
Visit me at Lange Foundation
August is a happy-go-lucky boy who loves to run and play. He was scheduled to be euthanized at the shelter because he had a seizure his first night there. We took him in and had him checked out by our vet. He was seizure free for a month with us before he had one. Our neurologist was able to get him in quickly and he was diagnosed with epilepsy. He is now on daily medication to prevent and control the frequency of his seizures and has been doing fantastic. August is a very friendly guy who would make an amazing hiking companion. |

Since being at the sanctuary, we've noticed that Clarence has tons of playful puppy energy and is always ready to have fun. He's also shown great promise with his fetch skills and would probably pick up any training he gets quickly. Visit me at Lange Foundation
Little Gwendolyn was taken to the shelter after someone saw her get hit by a truck. She was limping and had a swollen leg so she was medically alerted. We took her in and x-rays showed that surprisingly she did not have any broken bones. She just had some soft tissue damage which is why she was limping. Every day she limps less and is such a sweetie! We have her in our office and she is such a joy. She likes being scooped up to be held and is always down to play. She is a little ball of joy who is going to brighten someone's life! |

Punky
Visit me at Lange Foundation
Punky is the best! We rescued her along with a few other dogs that were previously used for breeding. She has sensitive skin and is on a daily pill to help her with skin irritation. Punky is the definition of gentle giant. She may look intimidating but she is really a softie. She spooks easily by loud cars that drive by and the dreaded garbage truck so she often prefers to go on walks with another dog to help her confidence. She loves to have her belly rubbed, is very affectionate and is great in the car. She has a very silly personality, is extremely outgoing and will make a wonderful companion. She does well with most other dogs and likes being part of a pack but would also be happy being an only dog. If you're looking for your very own house hippo, look no further! |
